Mr.Kiyani has ended the Command and Control chain after an attack by NATO on Pakistan army. He ordered the army to fight back with all of their resources. According to the Chief when NATO attacked Pakistan air force should have covered them up, but due to fault in radar system airforce could not reach at the place in time. In the light of new orders the check posts senior incharge would be allowed to fight without waiting for the response from higher authorities. The incharge would have permission to put down the attacking forces using all heavy weapons.
In a media report it is stated that on very next day of the attack an urgent meeting with higher army authorities was called headed by Chief of army staff Mr. Kiyani. Though the agenda discussed in meeting was kept secret but according to media resources, in the meeting is was decided that no such attacks would be tolerated in future.
Pakistan already suspended NATO supplies for Afghanistan and a large number of containers and tankers were stopped at different check-posts from entering Afghanistan in protest against the deadly attack. The attack gives a spark to already tensed relationships between Pakistan and America. Pakistan has also boycott the Bonn Conference as a reaction against NATO attack.
