Syria attacks killed two journalists


Opposition activists tell that two foreign journalists have been killed in Homs, Syria. Shells hit the building they were staying in causing them dead. French officials recognized them as Marie Colvin
Sunday Times reporter and French photographer, Remi Ochlik.

A number of people were killed other than Marie and Remi in the shelling attach on makeshift media centre in Baba Amr area. Opposition-held districts have been under cordon by protection authorities for more than two weeks, leaving hundreds dead.

Activists said more than 40 died on Tuesday, including Rami al-Sayed, a man who transmits a live video stream from Homs used by world media. Rami al- Sayed was deadly wounded during the selling attack in Baba Amr, Homs. Mr. Sayed’s brother posted a video of his wounded body in a hospital. 

The Red Cross has called on the administration and mutineers to concur to a daily ceasefire, to permit medical supplies to reach the worst affected areas and get civilians out, but there is no sign yet of this being agreed.
