Pakistan-Taliban links

According to a secret report by NATO, The Afghan Taliban are being helped by security services of Pakistan. The report which is no more a secret, derived from countless interrogations and
examinations, claims the Taliban stay insolent and have extensive hold among the Afghan people. The report is based on the material gathered from 27,000 interrogations, including more than 4000 arrested Al-Qaeda, Taliban foreign fighters and other civilians.

According to news agencies the leaked report is hard to digest for international forces and government of Afghanistan.

Pakistan’s foreign ministry spokes person Abdul Basit told, called the allegations “ridiculous” and baseless. He strictly denied the charges and called it as conspiracy against Pakistan. 

Mr. Basit told that Pakistani Government is committed to non-interference in internal matters of Afghanistan and expect all other states to stick on this principle. He further added that a stable, independent and peaceful is in interest of Pakistan government and the Pakistani security forces by no mean can indulge in any illegal activity in Afghanistan

According to the report by NATO, Pakistan knows the locations of senior and wanted Taliban Leaders.
"We have long been concerned about ties between elements of the ISI [Pakistan's intelligence service] and some extremist networks," said US Pentagon spokesman Captain John Kirby, adding that the US Defence Department had not yet seen the report. (BBC News)

Hina Rabbani Khar, Pakistan Foreign Minister is currently on a visit to Kabul for talks with Hamid Karzai the Afghan President.
